Patt Mann began his professional music career at the age of 14, performing at weddings and private events throughout Queens, New York. At 19, he relocated to the Dutchess County region, where he was promptly hired as second lead guitarist for the well‑known Cousin Vito Band.
In 1975, Patt stepped in to replace an absent guitarist with the County Revolution Band, broadening his experience across multiple musical genres and performing with the group until 1977. He then moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, where he joined Canyon, a five‑piece original band recognized as one of the most prominent acts in the tri‑state area. After two successful years, Patt returned to Dutchess County to continue his musical pursuits.
Over the following decades, Patt played a significant role in shaping the Hudson Valley music scene. He founded The Creation Band in 1988, World Wind Band in 1997, and in 2000 was recruited as lead guitarist for Diamondhead, a group widely regarded as the Hudson Valley’s longest‑playing band, which remains active today.
In 2023, Patt joined the Cymbolix Band, which later evolved into Cloudnyne and currently serves as the official house band for Mix 97 FM in Poughkeepsie, New York.
A versatile multi‑instrumentalist, Patt also performs on percussion, banjo, bass guitar, and keyboards as needed. He continues to contribute to the regional music community by hosting open mic events and collaborating with various local bands.

Started out with Stiletto and continued the journey through Crossfire, 7 Days Gone, Night Train, and Reformation, keeping the classic rock spirit alive every step of the way.
I’ve been at this since high school, and I’ll keep playing until the day they wheel me off stage—or until my name slips my mind.
